Engineering equipment workshops

The Engineering Equipment Workshops is a unit of the Royal Maintenance Corps. Its nucleus was formed in 1950 under the name of the Engineering Workshop and supports the First Engineering Company. It was joined to the Royal Maintenance Corps in 1976 and was called the Engineering Equipment Workshops. Based on the first phase of restructuring of the Royal Maintenance Corps Directorate, the Engineering Equipment Workshops were dissolved in 2008 and then reconstituted. With the approval of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, within the second phase of restructuring the Maintenance Corps Directorate.

 

The workshops perform the following duties:

  •  Technical repair.
  •  To supply the technician.
  •  Technical inspection.
  • Technical modifications
  •  Evaluation of mechanisms.

 

Specialized training, both theoretical and practical, through holding programmed courses. Implementing a plan to combat emergency weather conditions.
